Lead Surgical Instrument Processor

Assist the manager in the management of the Central Sterile Supply department. They will retrieve contaminated instruments along with supplies and deliver sterilized instruments and supplies from / to appropriate units and departments of the hospital. Selects and implements appropriate decontamination techniques to decontaminate.# Maintains an adequate inventory of current sterile instruments, supplies and linens in the surgical areas, including appropriate departments. This position will assume the role of setting up#orders along with processing them when needed in the CSS department. Additional roles include preparing and presenting staff meetings, in-services, and ensuring staff members#maintain certification. Other roles and responsibilities may be added at leadership discretion.
