Job Title : SolarWinds Engineer Transit Infrastructure Monitoring

Location : Newark NJ (Hybrid / On-site as required)

Position Summary

We are seeking an expert-level SolarWinds Engineer to lead the monitoring strategy for mission-critical transportation infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who understands the unique demands of transit systemsparticularly uptime safety and real-time performance visibility across rail bus and control center networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and manage SolarWinds environments (NPM NTA SAM NCM etc.) across transit systems.
• Develop advanced dashboards and alerts for SCADA signaling and communications systems.
• Integrate SolarWinds with ITSM platforms (e.g. ServiceNow) to support field teams and control centers.
• Lead root cause analysis and performance tuning for transit infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with NERC-CIP DOT and local transportation authority standards.
• Collaborate with engineering cybersecurity and operations teams to align monitoring with safety and reliability goals.
