Job descriptionHigh School Degree; 2-4 year college degree preferred Minimum 2+ years of experience in an aerospace quality role (senior or lead inspector experience preferred); 5-8 years of experience preferred Proficiency with CMMs, comparators, micrometers, calipers, and other precision inspection tools. Familiarity and experience with AS9100D requirements. Strong knowledge of machining prints and standard inspection practices. High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work with others. Dependable, reliable, and committed to producing high-quality results. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass a drug test. We are a fast-paced precision machine shop seeking an experienced Senior Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, self-motivation, team player, and a proven track record in quality inspection.
Responsibilities :
- Perform detailed inspections of machined components, including first articles, in-process, and final inspections.
- Approve first articles and establish process control practices to ensure consistent quality.
- Inspect and verify parts following outside processing, as well as prior to shipment to customers.
- Utilize CMMs, comparators, and a full range of precision measuring tools with proficiency.
- Interpret and apply machining prints, specifications, and industry standards to ensure compliance.
- Accurately document inspection results, maintain records, and uphold quality standards.
- Serve as a key contributor to continuous improvement of quality processes and procedures.
