Travel, Vascular Ultrasound Technician, US Tech, Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 & 10 hour shifts; no weekends; no holidays

What you will Do :

FirstChoice US Techs are utilized to fill short and long-term assignments throughout the health system, and we need you to be a part of this innovative program!

Responsibilities :

Performs quality ultrasound procedures by utilizing proper positioning skills and technical factors, as well as a knowledge of anatomical structures pertinent to the patient population of infants to geriatrics.

Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations.

Educates patients of exams being performed and obtains consent to perform procedure when necessary.

Collaborate with members of assigned unit as well as FirstChoice colleagues to deliver evidenced based care within a healing culture for patients as well as families.

Minimum Qualifications :

Associate’s Degree or higher required.

2 years of US Tech experience required.

Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.  (Note : American Heart Association certifications only accepted.)

Willingness to float throughout the hospital and / or throughout multiple hospital locations.

Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.

Gross Weekly Rate : $2720.00
