Description :
This is a seasonal contract position for a registered nurse in the intensive care unit.
The contract duration is for 13 weeks.
Shifts will be from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM.
There are no on-call requirements.
The unit consists of 24 beds with a staffing ratio of 1 RN to 2 patients (1 : 2).
Typical staff includes 1 charge nurse and 10 RNs on the night shift, catering to a census of 20 patients.
The unit is equipped with advanced technology such as vents, ECMO, Prismaflex, Tablo, Impella, IABP, Swan, and ventriculostomy drains.
Common procedures performed include tracheostomy, A-lines, central lines, chest tubes, and ventriculostomy placement.
Candidates must be team-oriented and open to feedback.
