About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist

Profession : Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Specialty : RRT

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (18 : 30 - 07 : 00)

Experience : Minimum 1 year required in specialty, previous charge experience preferred.

License : NY License required in hand to submit.

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, CRT, RRT.

Must-Have : EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement.

Description :

Candidates should be flexible to work in both long-term care and critical care settings.

Some weekends are required, with 2 out of 4 weekends per contract.

On-call duties are expected 1-2 times a month.

First-time travelers are accepted.

Local candidates must be within a specified mileage radius.

Candidates will float between various facilities as needed.

Must have experience with adult critical care and various respiratory equipment and procedures.

Key skills include aerosol setup, bag and mask ventilation, tracheostomy care, and weaning from mechanical ventilation.

Candidates should be prepared for a small amount of required call coverage.

Charting proficiency in EPIC is essential for this role.

The patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

The role involves caring for patients with long-term vents and critical care vents.

A background check will be conducted on a case-by-case basis.
