Privacy Associate II

A company is looking for a Privacy Associate II responsible for privacy compliance activities and risk management.

Key Responsibilities :

Evaluate enterprise initiatives for compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Identify and mitigate potential privacy risks related to information handling

Lead investigations of privacy-related issues and conduct privacy compliance assessments

Required Qualifications :

High School Diploma / GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant experience in lieu of degree

Minimum of five years of compliance experience in a health care or health insurance environment

At least three years of experience in a privacy compliance role

Preferred certification as a privacy professional from organizations such as IAPP or HCCA

In-depth knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security rules and other relevant privacy laws
