Project Estimator

KTM Builders LLC, a southeastern based General Contractor is seeking an Estimator with a minimum of 5 years of Commercial Construction experience. Our Company focuses on Commercial projects such as retail, restaurants, Churches, Hotels and the like.

The candidate is to have above par computer skills and be able to use to the fullest extent possible programs such as Procore, PlanSwift, Microsoft 365 Suite and the like. The Estimator will be in charge of solicitation of subcontractors, material take offs, preparing bid packages, issuing complete scope of work Subcontracts and completing all buy out within 2 weeks of award of a project.

Other requirements :

1.      Ability to read and understand plans and specifications for overall project understanding and to identify risk in difficult work, project restrictions and time constraints.

2.      Organize, research and strategically plan for estimate preparation, pricing, scheduling, and final submission to KTM VP and Owner.

3.      Review estimates and subcontractor proposals for accuracy and completeness to maximize revenue and minimize exposure.

4.      Development of accurate estimates for each project.

5.      Participate in turnover meeting for the Project Manager and Superintendent.

6.      Development of subcontractor and material supplier relationships.

7.      Maturity to know when to ask a question when necessary.

8.      College degree is not required. If you truly have over 5 years of experience as a Commercial Estimator, we want you to apply.
