Medical Assistant

Responsibilities :

• Check patients in and ensure a smooth registration process.
• Room patients and prepare them for their appointments.
• Enter patient data accurately into the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
• Perform phlebotomy, including blood draws, with precision and care.
• Coordinate effectively with onsite healthcare providers.
• Answer patient-related questions with clarity and empathy.

Work Environment :

The clinic is a busy fertility center located in Manhattan. Work hours are Monday to Friday, with an 8-hour shift starting between 6am and 8am. The team consists of 12 medical assistants and 4 providers, handling approximately 15 patients per provider daily. Weekend work will be required on a rotational basis, with the expectation of working 1-2 weekends per month. The clinic offers a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and development.

This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
