Senior Project Engineer

Job Description

Direct Hire : Full time role

$90k-$130k / year

Must have Chassi or Suspension Experience / Heavy Truck experience

7+ years of Sr. product design / project engineering experience with customer focusing experience

The team will provide relocation assistance if needed to the greater Lafayette, IN area

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop new products as well as modify and improve existing products.
• Analyze structural components through the use of engineering practices and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Create and maintain product documentation : solid modeling of components and assemblies, technical drawings, bills of material, and Engineering Change Requests.
• Create and maintain project specifications.
• Determine system sizing and components needed to satisfy project specifications.
• Participate in cross-functional teams for the associated product lines.
• Provide technical product support to customers, internal and external.
• Perform as Lead on project by managing and maintaining project timing and progress.
