About The Position

Description :

We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in the GI Lab.

The successful candidate will be responsible for recovering patients under conscious sedation.

Experience with bronchoscopies, colonoscopies, and EGDs is required.

Candidates should have a strong ability to monitor conscious sedation and manage dysrhythmias.

The role includes specimen handling and labeling.

Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, radiology, and pharmacy.

Patients primarily range from adolescents to adults.

The unit features special procedures such as EGD, ERCP, colonoscopy, and flexible sigmoidoscopy.

Candidates will rotate on an on-call schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The role requires travel experience and flexibility in scheduling.

Approved time off requests are limited to five non-consecutive days.

The facility maintains a high standard of care and is well-equipped for patient needs.
