About the Job :

CNC Machinist – Night Shift (Full-Time)

ONLY EXPERIENCED MACHINISTS SHOULD APPLY – This is NOT an operator-only position.

Location : Dayton, Ohio

Shift : Sunday – Thursday, 4 : 30 PM – 2 : 30 AM

Estimated Pay : $57K – $80K annually (based on experience and hours worked) + Night Shift Premium

Toolcraft Products, a trusted name in the metal stamping industry since 1939, is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our Night Shift team. ONLY EXPERIENCED MACHINISTS SHOULD APPLY – This is NOT an operator-only position. If you have a strong background in machining, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do :

  • Set up and operate CNC machines, interpreting blueprints and specifications to ensure precision machining.
  • Most jobs require starting with raw material that needs "squared" and sized to given dimensions.
  • Identify reference points, set tool registers, offsets, and compensation as needed.
  • Perform quality checks by verifying milled, drilled, and bored dimensions.
  • Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and make necessary adjustments.
  • Possible use of cranes for setup when required.
  • Maintain equipment through preventive maintenance and documentation.
  • Operate two machines when the workload allows.

What We’re Looking For :

  • Experience : Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience preferred.
  • Skills : Ability to set up CNC machines, read blueprints, and ensure quality standards.
  • Work Ethic : Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
