Chess Wizards is seeking enthusiastic class assistants to join our after-school enrichment program.

We are looking for dedicated individuals who can foster children's love for chess and enhance their life skills.

Why Join Us?

Competitive Pay : $40 - $55 per hour per session

Flexible Hours : Between 1 to 5 one-hour classes per week in the afternoon

Travel Compensation : Provided for trips over 15 miles (30 miles roundtrip) from your home or work location.

Our class assistants must commit to at least one class per week.

Essential Qualifications :

Some teaching, tutoring, or camp counseling experience is preferred.

The ability to teach young children that knowledge and creativity are magical.

Assist in interactive, friendly, and fun chess classes with 10-15 kids.

A sincere desire to be a positive role model and promote good sportsmanship.

Regular communication with supervisors to ensure a great experience for students.

Ability to drive between multiple locations.

Promptness and punctuality.

Commitment to providing a safe, fun, and friendly learning environment, inspiring lifelong learning, and building community through chess.

Chess ability is a plus!
