Counselor - Adolescent Partial Care

Bayside is a partial care program assisting youth, ages 11-17 years old, with emotional and behavioral needs through psycho-education, counseling, and support 5 days per week. Bayside’s goal is to prevent unnecessary hospitalization or effectively transition youth from hospitalization to successful home and community living. Bayside operates Monday-Friday, September through June from 3 : 00 pm to 6 : 00 pm and July and August from 10 : 45 am to 4 : 15 pm.

Salary : $40,000 - $42,000

Responsibilities :

• Provide direct supervision of consumers, facilitate social, recreational wellness and ADL skills groups
• Provide supportive counseling, case management, treatment meetings and behavior management
• Complete medical records adhering to agency, DCBHS, Office of Licensing, Medicaid and procedures
• Coordinate and assist clients with transportation
• Provide crisis intervention as necessary
