Low Voltage Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain low-voltage cabling infrastructure.
• Install IP cameras (primarily Axis).
• Pull and route cabling including CAT5e, CAT6e, CAT6A, and fiber optic.
• Drill through concrete walls and perform limited conduit-related tasks.
• Bundle, label, and secure cables according to standard safety practices.
• Install cable support hardware such as J-hooks, racks, and innerduct.
• Repair cabling poles and towers when required.
• Perform terminations for Cat6A and fiber optic cabling.
• Conduct system tests to ensure proper performance of installed devices.
• Troubleshoot cabling and network issues to maintain code-compliant systems.
• Aid in closeouts and MDF / IDF room buildouts.
