Position Summary

We are seeking a Billing Specialist to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing the full billing cycle from generating and reviewing invoices to reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and excellent communication skills when working with clients and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and issue invoices in accordance with company policies and contract terms.
  • Maintain accurate billing records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and assist with collections follow-up as needed.
  • Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve client inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (sales, customer service, accounting) to ensure accurate data and billing processes.
  • Assist with month-end closing tasks and generate billing reports for management.
  • Support process improvements to enhance billing efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of billing or accounts receivable experience , preferably in a corporate or shared services environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting or ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of billing, collections, and general accounting principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Associate or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
  • Pay Details : $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
