Event Services Manager

In the role of Event Services Manager, you'll take the lead and oversee all event-related services for the MassMutual Center, from the arena and convention center to "The Landing" event plaza. The day-to-day :
- Manage all event-related services and front-of-house details for events hosted in the arena, convention center, and "The Landing" plaza.
- Oversee client requests, ensuring they are fulfilled in a timely manner by collaborating with operational departments.
- Communicate with the Production Manager to execute event requirements, including reviewing concert riders and coordinating with clients and departments.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, guiding them through pre-planning activities and recommending optimal operating procedures.
- Conduct event meetings, delegating event specifics to responsible departments and overseeing the execution of contractual obligations.
- Develop cost estimates, manage client billing, and ensure payments are completed on schedule.
- Schedule and monitor ushers for events, maintaining a high level of communication between clients, departments, and vendors.
- Collaborate with clients to identify event needs, manage equipment requirements, and oversee inventory control and maintenance.
- Ensure proper setup and labor for front-of-house activities, and maintain accurate Event Resume sheets for assigned functions.
The ideal candidate :
Bachelor's Degree in Sports / Entertainment Management, Hospitality and Tourism, Theater Arts or related fieldEffectively communicate in English, both written and oral forms3+ Years of prior Event Management and / or Arena Operations experience is preferredThe perks & benefits :
