Preferred Experience

  • C.N.A Certification or Training, PCT Training, or EMT Training
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a fast paced healthcare environment.
  • Enrolled in a nursing program with 1 or more years until graduation.

Location Information :

  • Departments : Intensive Care Unit
  • Full Time Nights 12 hour shifts (Rotating weekends required)

    A Patient Care Tech (PCT) provides patient care and other duties under the supervision of a licensed nurse or other medical staff.

  • What can you expect to do as a PCT?

  • Collect and record patient Data, record vital signs and assist patients with activities of daily living (ADL)
  • Answer call lights and complete patient rounds
  • Assist with completing / maintaining files and forms for admission, transfer, and discharges.
  • Taking care of patient personal hygiene and assist with patient clean up.
  • Comply with Baylor Scott and White policies and procedures.
