Shape each day by keeping a modern plant running at its best
Step into a role where your hands-on expertise keeps manufacturing lines humming, laboratories supported, and office environments functioning. At NPAA, you’ll spend your day diagnosing and repairing mechanical systems, fine-tuning utilities, and ensuring our site is safe, compliant, and reliable.
A day in the life
You start with preventive rounds : checking pumps (mag drive and mechanical seal), inspecting grinding mills and valves, listening for telltale sounds from compressors, and verifying packaging systems are ready for production. You’ll troubleshoot motor control systems and plant instrumentation, and when needed, jump in to repair a forklift or aerial lift. Throughout the day, you’ll monitor steam generation and cooling / chilling systems, keeping us aligned with state mechanical requirements for fire systems, boilers, and pollution control. When projects call for it, you’ll put your fabrication and piping skills to use—welding and pipe assembly are a plus. You’ll also participate in safety and site improvement programs because better never stops here.
