We are seeking a per diem (RN) nurse to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center team in Fort Worth, Texas. The schedule is on call / as needed Monday-Friday with 8-hour shifts. No weekends or holidays required. Experience in Pre-Op / PACU and strong IV start skills is needed.

How You'll Contribute :

We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn’t specifically our “job.” In general, the ASC RN is responsible for :

• Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems, formulate patient care plans
• Perform initial preoperative assessment, develops a plan of care, and explains the subsequent phases of surgery
• Provide comfort measures and psychological support to the patient and family members
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation
• Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed
• Provide patient education
