Base pay range

$20.00 / yr - $21.50 / yr

Responsibilities

• Performs visual, dimensional and functional inspection of packaging components, in-process material and finished products as part of the manufacturing process.
• Audits production records and maintains QA inspection records.
• Reports nonconformance to the QA Manager and production.
• Initiates accept, hold or reject activities for products.
• Prepares documentation and samples to be sent to customers for evaluation and release of the product.
• Performs line checks to ensure conformance to customer and specification requirements. (Note : this aligns with essential duties)
• Performs inspection of raw materials / packaging components used on the production line.
• Completes documents / records following cGMP documentation practices.
• Performs statistical sampling following ANSI / ASQC Z1.4 sampling requirements.
• Locates raw material, packaging components or finished product by IC number or production date using current inventory control software.
• Performs incoming sampling and inspects packaging components as needed.
• Adheres to company safety policies.
• Comply with the Chemical Hygiene Plan and Environmental policies when handling and disposing of chemicals.
• Perform additional duties as requested by those authorized to request such activities including required overtime to meet departmental requirements.
