About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Must-Have :

Strong MS / tele experience or ICU / PCU experience is preferred.

Ability to float to different units as needed.

Experience with standard med surg / tele equipment.

Description :

ICU RN position with responsibilities in critical care.

The position may require floating to medical-surgical and telemetry units as needed.

Shifts include three 12-hour shifts or four 12-hour shifts, from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Patient ratios in the ICU are 1 : 1 or 1 : 2, while in medical-surgical / telemetry units, they are 1 : 4 or 1 : 5.

A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required.

Travelers will be expected to work every other weekend.

Candidates can submit applications with a pending license.

Certifications required for this position include BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.

There are no on-call requirements for this position.

Candidates must be flexible and willing to float as necessary.

Blocked scheduling may be possible based on unit needs.

Reference to floating requirements emphasizes adaptability.

Special procedures require experience in managing critically ill patients.

Candidates should have experience with arterial line management, ventilator management, and central line care.

Experience with neuro and trauma cases is necessary.

Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for this position.

Candidates must be willing to work with diverse and critically ill patients.

This role requires a strong focus on patient safety and quality care standards.

Compliance with facility standards and protocols is a must.
