Contracts Counsel (Remote, U.S. Based)

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Contracts Counsel to join a dynamic team supporting a leading provider of professional development and online continuing education solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently draft, review, redline, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements, licensing deals, and IT-related transactions.
- Lead and support RFP preparation and response processes.
- Navigate federal contracting requirements and compliance frameworks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline contract workflows and mitigate risk.
- Provide legal guidance on agreements involving learning management systems, AI, and technology platforms serving the education and training sectors.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school.Active license to practice law in any U.S. state, in good standing.Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial contracts (client service agreements & vendor contracts), preferably in-house.Demonstrated expertise in licensing agreements and technology transactions (SaaS).Familiarity with federal procurement processes and compliance standards.Tech savvy with proficiency in contract lifecycle management systems and MS Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and advanced Excel.Experience supporting clients in education, manufacturing, or public safety sectors is a plus.Must reside in the U.S. and be available to start immediately in a full-time capacity during Eastern Time Zone business hours.Why Apply?
