About The Role
COUNTRY Financial is seeking a highly motivated Software Test Architect / Automation Practice Lead for the TCoE team. This senior role offers an excellent opportunity to own and deliver the direction and strategy of Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering (QA / QE) practices throughout Country Technology. With the increasing focus on quality at speed, our requirement to deliver QA and QE services increases, leading to a demand for technical testing practices in the pipeline and CI platforms emphasizing earlier test automation. This position allows a hybrid work (onsite & remote). How does a Test Architect make an impact? The role will be quite varied and will fall under five broad areas :
You will be working with a variety of teams across multiple application areas, either bringing in new services or improving the delivery of existing projects.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership : Provide leadership in developing, educating, and implementing test automation frameworks.
Governance : Oversee the delivery and governance of testing tools (both automation and management).
Consultancy : Offer technical test design consultancy, including proof of concepts.
Improvement : Work with application groupings to improve test automation capabilities and maturity.
Strategy Development : Develop and deliver the strategy for expanding QA / QE automation capabilities.
Evangelism : Promote test automation both internally and externally.
Continuous Improvement : Continuously improve the QA / QE practice.
Talent Attraction : Ensure top talent is attracted into the practice.

Key Selection Criteria
Expertise : Expertise in Software Quality Assurance practices and hands on test automation (Python, Pytest, Selenium, Roboframework, API, and other automation test frameworks).
Experience : Proven background in delivering successful test automation projects and experience (2 to 5+ years) as a team leader.
Methodologies : Experience with IT development methodologies (e.g., Agile / SAFE, waterfall).
Autonomy : Ability to take ownership of the practice and work autonomously.
Flexibility : Flexible and able to cope with a constantly changing, dynamic environment.
Pressure Handling : Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Team Player : Open-minded and collaborative.
Problem-Solving : Strong analytical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think outside the box.
Customer Centric : Proactive attitude with a customer-centric approach.
Communication : Excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
Test Data Management : Experience in test data management.
Test Environment Management : Experience in test environment management.

Base Pay Range : $91,200-$125,400
The base pay range represents the typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired. Factors used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, qualifications and experience.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Short-Term Incentive plan.
