Counter Sales Representative

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Counter Sales Representative include, but are not limited to :
- Greet customers and assist them in locating the products they need
- Assist customers in selecting HVAC equipment, parts and supplies based on their needs
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Provide recommendations and guidance to customers based on their specific requirements
- Provide accurate information regarding the availability of in-stock items
Sales Support
Process orders, invoices, and returns using the company's POS systemGenerate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information promptlyCalculate and quote process, discounts, and applicable taxesUpsell additional products or services to customersFollow up on sales leads and inquiries to generate additional businessCoordinate with warehouse and purchasing teams to ensure product availabilityTechnical Assistance
Assist customers with technical questions or issues related to HVAC productsRefer complex technical inquiries to TSAAdministrative Tasks
Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and inventory movementsAssist with general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and phone / email correspondenceInventory Management

Required :
A high school diploma or equivalent is requiredPrior experience in sales, counter sales, or related fieldStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with computers and different software programsMust be able to bend, stand, reach, pull, lift, and carry items up to 75 poundsPreferred :
