MRI Technologist III - Part Time

Position Details :

Location : Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City

Shift : Part Time (24 hours / week)

Overview :

Performs specialized MRI procedures on patients, resulting in diagnostic images for interpretation by a radiologist. Also provides the patient care essential to these procedures. Applies principles of MR safety. Two registries working in area or Super User for select programs.

Qualifications :

• Experience : 1+ years of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor degree program
• Required Education : High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or MRI Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
• Preferred Education : Bachelor degree
• Certifications : ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT 1 Advanced registry (MRI)- working in the area
• Skills & Knowledge : IV Insertion, technical skill in medical scanning, understanding of cross sectional anatomy and 3-D knowledge
