Responsibilities of the Commercial Real Estate Property Accountant :

We are seeking an experienced Property Accountant specializing in Retail Commercial Real Estate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, possess expertise in Yardi software, and demonstrate proficiency in handling various financial tasks related to retail commercial properties.

• Yardi Software Management

Utilize Yardi software to manage and maintain property financial records.

Maintain comprehensive and organized financial records for retail commercial properties.

Prepare and analyze monthly operating reports to provide insights into property performance, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency.

Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes

Generate and analyze monthly financial reports for retail properties, highlighting key performance indicators.

Monitor and control property-related expenses, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Collaborate with property managers to streamline the onboarding process for new tenants into the Yardi system, ensuring accurate lease and financial data integration.

Work effectively as part of a collaborative team, fostering open communication and contributing to the overall success of the accounting department.

Demonstrate the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve accounting discrepancies and issues promptly.

Maintain a clear understanding of accounting principles and ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
