Position Overview :

As an Audio Visual Installation Technician , you’ll play a hands-on role in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting high-end residential A / V and automation systems . This is an exciting opportunity for someone with technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a passion for home technology .

Key Responsibilities :

Install and integrate home entertainment and automation systems, including :

Home theaters

Multi-room audio and video

Motorized shades and lighting control

Wired and wireless network systems

Rack assembly, cable management, and structured wiring for clean, professional installations.

System programming and configuration (Control4, Lutron, or similar platforms).

Test, troubleshoot, and calibrate systems for optimal performance.

Educate and train clients on system usage and best practices.

Maintain a clean and professional workspace in clients' homes.

Provide technical support and system maintenance as needed.

Work both independently and collaboratively within a skilled team.

What You Bring to the Team :

Experience with A / V installation, smart home systems, Wi-Fi and IT networking.

CEDIA or other industry certifications are a bonus.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Basic understanding of IP networking and system integration .

Ability to work with hand and power tools (owning tools is a plus).

Experience with Control4, Lutron, Crestron, or similar automation platforms is a big bonus.

Excellent customer service and communication skills .

Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities .

Must be able to lift equipment, work on ladders, and perform physical tasks as needed.

Proficiency in the use of PC or Apple computers including programs such as MS office .

Clean background check required (no felonies).
