American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Spokane, Washington.

Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with at least two years of recent critical care experience and a WA or compact RN license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the ICU of a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma Center
  • Assignments may float between ICU and other units, as well as sister facilities within the state
  • Expected patient ratio is 1 : 2
  • Day shift position with three 12-hour shifts per week from 7 : 00 to 19 : 00
  • Every other weekend is required
  • No on-call is required
  • Uses Epic EMR; prior Epic experience is required
  • Teaching hospital environment
  • RNs are expected to float between all facilities within the state as needed
  • Scrub color for RNs is any color
  • Pre-employment modules are self-paced, averaging 16 hours
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Return travelers must observe a 3-month break from previous perm employment before reapplying
  • Minimal to no time off is approved; all RTO must be requested up front
  • Holiday coverage may be expected per unit scheduling
  • Parking is provided at no cost

    • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Active WA or compact RN license required at time of consideration
  • Minimum two years of recent ICU experience required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and other certifications required per specialty
  • Two supervisory references covering at least one year in a comparable ICU setting within the last three years
  • Must not have been employed as permanent staff in the facility within the last three months
  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
  • Completion of facility onboarding modules before start
