Purpose :
Under supervision, and in accordance with standardized procedures, operates
electroencephalograph equipment to measure impulse frequency and differences in electrical
potential between various areas of the brain to obtain data for use on diagnosis of brain
disorders; performs related work.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities :
Job Description
1. Graduation from a Senior High School or possession of a High School Equivalency Diploma, and one year of experience as an Electroencephalograph Technician in an approved hospital or in the office of a recognized Psychiatrist, Neurologist or Neurosurgeon; or,
2. A satisfactory equivalent.
