Content Assistant Internship (Fall 2025)

The Social Agency is looking for an in-person Content Assistant Intern to join our team this fall. This is an internship role where your main responsibility is supporting our Account Managers and making sure our content shoots run smoothly. You’ll get hands-on experience with professional content production while learning the behind-the-scenes of how a social media agency operates.

This position is in-person only (NYC), with flexibility required since shoots take place during regular business hours. Expected workload is 15 hours per week. School credit or a paid stipend is available but this role is only open for current students. This is not available as a remote role.

What you'll be doing :

  • Wardrobe & props :  Steam clothing, prepare props, and manage garment bags on shoot days.
  • Camera support :  Check and adjust camera angles; assist with lighting / framing when needed.
  • On-set support :  Help with setup and logistics during studio and location shoots; occasionally appear in content (Reels / TikTok / photos).
  • Product handling :  Unbox deliveries, organize items, and handle package drop-offs / pickups.
  • Studio management :  Keep the studio neat, organized, and shoot-ready at all times.
  • Community engagement :  Support with account engagement on Instagram / TikTok between shoots.
  • Team support :  Assist account managers with relevant ad-hoc tasks.

    • The ideal candidate is :

  • A Junior or Senior in Marketing, Communications, PR, Media, or a related field.
  • Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with a “no task too small” mindset.
  • Comfortable on camera and professional on set; able to take direction and move quickly.
  • Physically able to assist with light set logistics (garment bags, props, packages).
  • Located in or near NYC and able to be  in person Manhattan  multiple times per week.
