Join a wonderful team in a rapidly growing top-rated hospital system focused on delivering quality patient care. We are seeking a dedicated full-time psychiatrist to provide compassionate, high-quality care at Texas Health Seay Behavioral Health Center.

Opportunity Overview

Practice : inpatient behavioral health hospital
Patients : adults / adolescents
Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm with flexibility, no mandatory after-hours call or weekends
Team : psychiatrists, PMHNPs, social workers, therapists, discharge planners and UR
Average Census or Volume : 12 to 15 patients per day
Type of Work : primary inpatient admissions and treatment; occasional PHP / IOP coverage as needed

Compensation : Competitive compensation with base salary plus opportunities for productivity bonus, quality bonus, holiday stipend, and additional pay for voluntary weekend coverage

Qualifications

Board certified / board eligible psychiatrist (MD / DO)

Active Texas medical license (or ability to obtain)

Active DEA license (or eligible to apply)

Inpatient psychiatry experience preferred; new grads with inpatient exposure encouraged to apply; must be comfortable treating adolescents
