General Description

Aerostar Manufacturing is growing, and we're looking for a Domestic Supplier Sourcing Specialist to help strengthen our supply chain and support our production teams. If you enjoy problem-solving, building supplier relationships, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment—this is your opportunity to shine!

What You'll Do :

• Read and interpret blueprints quickly and accurately
• Understand specs & notes (materials, special requirements, standards, etc.)
• Identify critical characteristics and tight tolerances
• Communicate effectively with outside suppliers
• Establish requirements and expectations
• Drive timelines and help overcome bottlenecks
• Ensure accuracy in commercial quotes
• Solve problems and manage sourcing challenges with independence and structure
• Travel occasionally for supplier visits (typically same-day or 1-day trips)

What We're Looking For :

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Self-reliant, well-organized, and detail-oriented

Preferred Knowledge (a big plus!) :

Hands-on machining and operational processing experience

Casting knowledge

Familiarity with modeling software

Quoting, sourcing, or purchasing background

Logistics and supply chain coordination

Job shop (non-automotive) environment
