About The Position

Wellhart is seeking a skilled CRNA for a locum tenens position at a healthcare facility in Florida. This comprehensive opportunity offers coverage starting 09 / 01 / 2025, for an initial contract of 100 days, with potential for extension. The assignment involves flexible shift options, including 8, 10, 12, 14, and 16-hour shifts, with a preference for five 8-hour shifts per week. The role also includes on-call responsibilities, with weekday beeper call from 3 : 30 PM to 7 AM and weekend 24-hour call shifts. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with a wide range of case types, including general, orthopedic, GI-endoscopy, ophthalmology, healthy pediatrics, urology, robotics, OB / GYN, bariatrics, vascular, cardiac ablations, interventional radiology, neuro-interventional radiology, neurosurgery, and bronchoscopy.

Responsibilities and Duties :

• Provide anesthesia care for a diverse range of surgical procedures
• Manage cases in various specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, GI-endoscopy, ophthalmology, urology, robotics, OB / GYN, bariatrics, and vascular surgery
• Assist with cardiac ablations, interventional radiology, and neuro-interventional procedures
• Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and develop anesthesia plans
• Administer and monitor anesthesia during procedures
• Manage post-anesthesia care and recovery
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Epic EHR system
• Participate in on-call rotations, including weekday beeper call and weekend 24-hour call shifts
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols
