The Maintenance Supervisor leads a team of skilled mechanics and technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable facility and equipment performance. This position oversees daily maintenance operations, preventive programs, and repairs in a high-volume manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong leadership and organizational skills.
Responsibilities :
- Supervise and coordinate all maintenance activities, repairs, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Assign and monitor work orders, ensuring completion within time and budget constraints.
- Manage department priorities, resource allocation, and daily workflow.
- Lead, train, and evaluate maintenance personnel; promote a culture of safety and accountability.
- Utilize CMMS software to track maintenance work, inventory, and equipment history.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve equipment issues and prevent downtime.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and plant efficiency.
- Oversee contractors and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
- Support capital projects by identifying equipment needs and coordinating installations.
Qualifications :
5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial facilities.2+ years of supervisory or lead technician experience required.Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Proficiency with CMMS software and maintenance scheduling tools.Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and P&IDs.Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred.Certifications in Electrical, HVAC, or Mechanical systems are a plus.
