This position is based out of Wheeling, WV. We are looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic with experience to maintain and repair heavy equipment. Responsibility for troubleshooting issues and fixing them, aiming to maximum reliability and functionality.

Pay Type : Salary Non-Exempt
Pay Range : $55,000 - $85,000 (W / Production Bonus)

- Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing components, parts, fluids etc.) aiming to functionality and longevity
- Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
- Keep logs on work performed and issues corrected, with documented machine numbers and hours.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
Experience
Five plus (5) years of proven experience as Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic is needed.Valid certifications (e.g. Diesel and industrial Technology) is a definite plusValid Commercial CDL License is also a plusJob Requirements
Must be 18 years of ageHigh School Diploma or GED, preferredCertification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferredValid driver’s license and clean driving recordReliable transportationRegular and punctual attendanceExcellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of Equipment / Vehicles.Working knowledge of Equipment diagnostic systems and methods. (Cat ET, Cummins.)Well-versed in complex mechanical or electronical systems of equipment & vehiclesAbility to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift)Excellent physical conditionExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesGood communication skillsEffective communication is requiredGood eye-hand coordination and manual dexterityMust be able to work safely and effectively as part of a team or independentlyMust be able to successfully pass a post offer drug test and background checkAbility to work in the United States without sponsorshipJob Schedule and Physical Demands
