Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Design Operations Coordinator to support our design team and ensure the seamless flow of materials, communication, and project execution from design to installation. This role involves managing documentation, coordinating with various teams, and overseeing the procurement, ordering, receiving, and installation of all design-related materials.

This is a part-time hourly role (24-28 hours / week) with potential to grow into full-time in the future. This is a hybrid role that requires availability during standard business hours (9 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM EST) and the flexibility to work onsite-both in the home office and at project locations - as needed to support business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management :

• Responsible for the timely planning, organization, and execution of all tasks and responsibilities listed below, while coordinating effectively with key stakeholders (clients, receivers, and the design team) from start to finish.

PM Software Ownership

Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for project management software (Studio Designer), overseeing its setup, usage, and troubleshooting.

Handle the full lifecycle of design materials, including ordering, receiving, coordinating delivery, and managing returns / exchanges.

Oversee the timely coordination and execution of installations related to furniture and decoration projects.

Manage and track post-installation warranties, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of any issues.

Maintain an organized inventory of design materials and a sample library for easy access and reference.
