Shoreside Tank Barge PIC (MMC Required)

Tank Barge PIC (Shoreside / MMC Required) New Orleans, LA

PSC Group is seeking a licensed Tank Barge PIC to serve in a vital role as part of our nation's petroleum and chemical shipping industry. The Tank Barge PIC serves as the person-in-charge of critical operations, with the responsibility of protecting the environment by ensuring the safe transfer of petrochemicals to barges. This position requires a U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariners Credential (MMC).

Work Schedule (Depending on Location) :

6 days on call (24hr call) and 3 days off

Pay Range : $35.00 - $45.50 (varies on experience) Competitive pay with growth opportunities (mileage reimbursement available, along with other incentives).

Job Requirements :

• Must hold a current U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariners Credential (MMC) with Tank Barge PIC (DL) Endorsement
• Must have a current TWIC card and valid driver's license (reliable transportation and telephone)
• One year of experience as a Tank Barge PIC preferred
