Job description

We are seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE / BC) Medical Oncologist to assist in the launch of our new Medical Oncology practice. This is an ongoing, clinic-only opportunity, with an initial need for three days a week over a three-month period, starting November 3, 2025.

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule : We need a commitment of three days a week for at least three months. Shifts are 8-10 hours long, starting at 7 : 30 AM. No weekend coverage is required.
  • Support : You will have APP support within the practice.
  • EMR System : We utilize Epic for our electronic medical records.

Responsibilities :

  • You will play a key role in establishing our new practice, with the following responsibilities :
  • Provide direct patient care, including consultations, admissions, and follow-up care.
  • Conduct hospital rounding as needed.
  • Collaborate with the in-practice Advanced Practice Provider (APP) on consults, follow-ups, orders, and patient management.
  • Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary cancer team.
  • Provide coverage when the PRN Medical Oncologist is not on-site.

    • Requirements :

  • Minimum Board Certification : Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE / BC) in Hematology Oncology.
  • Experience : Must have experience in direct patient care, hospital rounding, and a collaborative team environment.
