Experience and Skills :
- 2+ years’ experience configuring, implementing, and testing Aveva PI Historian tags
- Experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical facility or working with FDA regulations is required
- Knowledge with Emerson DeltaV, PLCs, OPC configuration, and InfoBatch is a plus, but not required
- Working knowledge of Kneat, a Digital Validation Platform, is highly recommended
- Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills and fluency in English with the ability to effectively communicate within cross-functional teams and to management
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team-based environment with employees at all levels
- Ability to manage commitments while displaying an eagerness to learn and continuously improve
- Knowledge with Drug Substance Manufacturing (DSM) would be beneficial
- ComplianceWire, TrackWise, and Veeva experience is a plus
Main Responsibilities :
Insight Global is seeking an Aveva PI Automation Support Engineer to support the system integration and testing of PI Historian tags into the site-wide Aveva PI Data Historian for the full facility. The facility consists of two Drug Substance Manufacturing facilities (DSM 1 & DSM 2), a Central Utilities Building (CUB), Tank Farm, a Drug Product Filling and Finished Goods Packaging Facility (DPFG), Warehouse, and Lab / Admin building. These buildings shall be connected by a large, centralized corridor (Spine). Construction is currently ongoing to add two more Drug Substance Manufacturing facilities (DSM 3 & DSM 4).
Responsibilities :
Generation of PI Tag Verification test protocols within Kneat.Configuration of tags in Aveva PI Historian.Executing PI Tag Verification testing within Kneat.Coordinate with various project workstreams including Automation, Computer System Validation (CSV), Commissioning Qualification Validation (CQV), Process Engineering, Quality Assurance (QA), and others as needed.Attend regularly scheduled project status meetings with FLBN System SME.Complete Safety, Project Procedure, and Project Instruction training as required.
