Now Hiring : Welders – $21 / hr

Location : Ottawa, KS | Full-Time | 50+ hrs / week with OT

Are you a skilled welder looking for steady hours, overtime opportunities, and the chance to work on exciting, high-profile projects? Join our team and put your welding expertise to work in the commercial, bridge, and industrial sectors.

Pay & Schedule : $21 / hr starting pay

  • 2nd Shift

Must be flexible to work up to 10-hour days + Saturday overtime

  • Average workweek : ~50 hours

    • What You’ll Do :

  • Weld materials in all positions (ground level, above, below)
  • Perform FCAW, SMAW, GMAW, and SAW welding techniques
  • Follow AWS & AISC standards to ensure top-quality welds
  • Prepare materials by grinding, chipping, and finishing
  • Weld structural components like plates, girders, tanks, and beams
  • Operate cranes to transport materials safely
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

    • What We’re Looking For :

  • Proficiency in FCAW, SMAW, GMAW, and SAW welding
  • Experience welding steel, aluminum, and structural materials
  • Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols & technical drawings
  • At least 12 months of stable welding experience (structural preferred)
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must pass AWS D1.1 weld test
