Full-time or Part Time position; no holidays; Monday-Thursday 7 : 30a-5pm essential, but some flexibility to come in earlier / stay later or potential for remote work to complete 40 hours. Attendance at monthly evening membership meetings 5 : 30p-7 : 30p required. No vaccines required.

Position Overview :
As an Infusion Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse at Alabama Functional Medicine, you will bre responsible for administering our nutrient IV therapies and 10-Pass ozone IV therapy as well as cross training with other therapies, procedures and general patient intake. You will carry out the plan of care established by the Providers, monitor patient response, provide patient education, and support the patient through their Membership Program. You will be responsible for communicating patient responses / results with Providers and other team members as indicated. This position provides a unique opportunity to develop caring relationships with our patients as they conquer their difficult health challenges. It is extremely rewarding to see our patient results.
This position requires a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse who takes responsibility for her own education as many of the therapies that we provide will be unfamiliar to you. You must be self-driven and extremely organized. You must also be capable of conducting research to create patient information materials. Any team member who works in our practice must have exceptional customer service skills and be willing to go the extra mile for our patients. Professionalism in appearance and conduct is a must. You must also be comfortable and happy to discuss intimate issues relating to sexual health with both male and female patients as well as assist with procedures related to pelvic health.
This position requires a candidate who follows a healthy lifestyle and models the recommendations for healthy living that we recommend to our patients.
This practice recognizes the importance of pelvic health in most relationships and makes no apologies for researching and discussing ways to improve the lives of people by improving their sexual or pelvic function. A large part of what we do is about helping relationships. As a benefit of this position, the individual will have the opportunity (and is expected) to receive some of the treatments to experience increased health themselves as well as be able to better communicate with inquiring patients.

Physical Demands :
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time as well as move about easily. Must be able to lift boxes / supplies as needed. Must be able to assist patients with repositioning / mobility if needed.
