Radiologic Technologist Job Details Location : Normal, Illinois (61761) – Central Illinois healthcare jobs Assignment Length : 20 weeks (September 8, 2025 – January 24, 2026) Healthcare Setting : Cardiac Cath Lab & Special Procedures Unit Schedule : Monday – Friday, 4x10 hour day shifts (7 : 30 AM – 6 : 00 PM) Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week On-Call : Every 3rd weekend (Friday–Sunday) and 1–2 weekdays as needed Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2750 - $2820 Employment Type : Travel Radiologic Technologist job Radiologic Technologist Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology setting Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field, or Certificate in Radiologic Technology Current ARRT Radiography (R) certification – required for radiologic technologist jobs Valid IEMA Radiography License (Illinois) – Illinois radiology jobs BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) Ability to take call after 6 months of orientation Preferred : Neuro Interventional and Electrophysiology (EP) experience Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities Administer contrast material as ordered, monitor for hypersensitivity or allergic reactions, and respond appropriately Anticipate set-up and needs for invasive cardiac and interventional radiology procedures; assist with inventory and supplies Verify patient and chart identification, diagnosis, and treatment position for all clinical procedures Accurately compile and document pertinent clinical information in patient records Explain procedures to patients, ensuring comfort, support, safety, and confidentiality throughout the process Perform all essential functions of an Invasive Lab Radiologic Technologist, including floating to all procedural areas as needed Maintain a clean and sterile work environment; demonstrate competence with imaging and monitoring equipment; perform basic troubleshooting Function as a scrub and monitor technician on a rotating basis during cardiac cath and special procedures Assist physicians during interventional procedures and administer or withhold contrast / treatment as appropriate Assess patients for allergies and administer medications within scope of practice Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Travel Radiologic Technologist in Normal, Illinois, and take the next step in your radiology career!
