About The Position

About the Role :

A Health Cancer Center is actively seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) specializing in Hematology / Oncology to support their outpatient practice. You will collaborate with a team including breast surgeons, surgical oncologists, and radiation oncologists to provide comprehensive care for adult and geriatric patients.

Key Responsibilities :

🩺 Manage hematology and oncology patients in outpatient and some inpatient settings

💉 Administer chemotherapy-related procedures (intracavitary, intrathecal)

🔬 Perform FNA / biopsy and manage vascular access devices (VAD / CV catheters)

🧾 Order and interpret tests and imaging; prescribe medications

🤝 Participate in tumor board discussions

📋 Coordinate patient care alongside a multidisciplinary team

Job Requirements

✅ Active Maryland NP license, DEA, and CDS required at submission

🎓 Board Certified NP with Hematology / Oncology experience preferred

🚑 ACLS certification required; BLS acceptable to obtain privileges

💻 Experience with Epic EMR system

🌟 Local candidates preferred and prioritized, but full travel reimbursement available (flight, hotel, rental car, mileage at IRS rates)
