The Role :

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the safe and efficient operation of our food manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, packaging machinery, and facility systems. The technician will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues, ensuring minimal downtime and compliance with food safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include completing routine inspections, responding to equipment breakdowns, maintaining accurate maintenance records, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities :

• Diagnose, inspect, and repair complex interrelated process machinery in a sanitary food manufacturing environment.
• Trains other non-Maintenance technical operators on basic troubleshooting activities.
• Provides preventative maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities with mechanical, pneumatic, steam, and basic electrical skills.
• Responds to equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs to maintain production equipment in a full safe working capacity.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Consistently follow food safety and good manufacturing practices.
• Maintains compliance with SQF standards and use of appropriate PPE and meet all EH&S requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements :

The Work Schedule : Weekend Nights : Friday - Sunday, Every other Thursday. 6 : 00pm- 6 : 30am

Compensation : The starting wage for this role is $32.00 - $36.00 hourly, with actual compensation varying based on skills, experience, and location. This shift comes with a $2.00 an hour additional shift differential.
