The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for planning the maintenance and repair of project facilities and equipment. This position schedules the work to be accomplished daily, weekly and during planned outages, determines the required parts, equipment, and human resources to complete this work. Work will be planned and scheduled in the projects CMMS system (Asset Essentials).
The Maintenance Supervisor reports to the Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Supervisor works hand in hand with the Maintenance Techs and cooperates with other supervisors and personnel as needed in the daily maintenance of the project.

Responsibilities :
Plans and schedules the preventive / corrective activities for maintenance personnel in performing maintenance and repair activitiesPlans and schedules project outages and establishes priority lists for planned work scopesPlans work scopes and establishes priorities for forced outage workTroubleshoots equipment and develops repair plans and schedules as necessaryRecommends and facilitates the procurement of parts and equipment necessary to support all identified maintenanceRetrieves the required parts from inventory; identifies the necessary tools for repair; and researches vendor technical instructions for all project repair workDetermines the required project conditions and appropriate work isolation for planned maintenance, including the preparation of lockout / tagoutsAdministers a maintenance plan that ensures electrical and mechanical equipment is serviced and maintained in accordance with vendor recommendations and proceduresImplements the projects preventive maintenance program, including equipment failure records, and providing trend information to the Maintenance ManagerSupports and coordinates Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processOrganize and maintain parts inventory for all parts in stock, ensuring that stock levels do not fall below required levelsCommunicate with vendors and contractors regarding order status, delivery times and availabilityProcess returns of defective parts, arranging replacements and ensuring company receives a credit for all returned partsShop best price and availability of parts from a variety of vendorsFind ways to source parts that may be proprietary to certain manufacturesMaintain daily PO spreadsheetProcess invoices for payment, issue PO numbers through Radius Program and work with accounts payable to resolve any vendor issuesKeep management updated on lead times and any supply chain issuesMaintain the parts storage area to insure it is well organized and parts removed from inventory are re-orderedMaintain maintenance daily MDI board by updating KPIsMaintain filing in the maintenance departmentSchedule Preventive Maintenance Contractors for Chiller, HVAC, Air Compressor, Fire System, etc.Other duties as neededQualifications :
High School Diploma / GED requiredExperience using computers for data entry, record keeping, etc. requiredExperience with Microsoft Office Suite requiredMinimum of 2 years of purchasing-related experience requiredKnowledge of electrical, mechanical and pneumaticsExcellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.Experience with Radius, SAP, or other Production and Customer Management System requiredExperience operating a forklift is preferredDiversity & Inclusion :
