RN Emergency Room – Salem, VA Pay :

  • $32.33 - $48.50 / hr, based on years of experience Night Shift Differential : $3.00 / hr Weekend Day Shift Differential : $3.00 / hr Weekend Night Shift Differential : $7.00 / hr Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 with a 2-year commitment Relocation Assistance : Up to $1,500 We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team in Salem, VA.
  • As part of our healthcare facility, you'll be providing care to patients in urgent need, managing a wide range of conditions from minor injuries to critically ill patients.

    • Responsibilities :

  • Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages in the Emergency Room.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously, prioritizing care based on patient acuity.
  • Provide high-quality nursing care, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with physicians, departments, and families to coordinate care and referrals.
  • Document patient care and nursing interventions effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain composure in high-pressure situations, acting professionally under stress.

    • Requirements :

  • Education : Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred or current enrollment in a BSN program.

    • Licensure :

  • Current RN license in Virginia or multi-state compact RN license with eligibility to practice in Virginia.

    • Certifications :

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider required.

    • Experience :

  • At least 1 year of ER experience in an acute care setting preferred, but Med / Surg nurses interested in cross-training for night shifts will also be considered.

    • Compensation :

  • Salary : $32.33 - $48.50 / hr depending on experience.

    • Shift Differential :
