SUMMARY

The Quality Technician will conduct inspections on supplied and made-in product and input and analyze quality data to ensure compliance with ACO quality standards and other industry regulations.

  • Conduct routine inspections of products and processes to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare reports summarizing findings.
  • Assist in the investigation of non-conformities and support root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with production and office teams to develop corrective and preventative actions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO).
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and other departments to promote a culture of quality.
  • Provide support during audits and inspections.
  • Use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, height gage, micrometers, thread gages) effectively and correctly. Experience with CMM a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (GD&T a plus).
  • Work with production to improve in-process quality.
  • Identify the root of technical issues and recommended fixes.
  • Work with internal teams to increase customer satisfaction by improving the quality of the product.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering or sciences.
  • Minimum of two years related experience.

  • Ability to use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, height gage, micrometers, thread gages) effectively and correctly
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondences, and memos.
  • Ability to write technical correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Good organizational skills required
  • Proficient in MS Office Products
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT :

  • Regularly required to stand or walk.
  • Occasionally required to sit and work on a computer.
  • Occasionally required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
  • Frequently required to talk or hear.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
