As an Automotive Technician in (City, State) specializing in light and medium-duty fleet vehicles, your role is crucial in ensuring the safety, satisfaction, and excellence of our fleet maintenance services.
Compensation : $30.00 hour - $40.00 hour DOE - Paid weekly, every Friday!
Days : Monday - Friday
Shift : 8 : 00pm - 4 : 30am

What the Auto Service Technician role looks like :
Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and on a computerPerform repairs and preventative maintenance to light and medium duty vehiclesPerform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documentation requiredComply with all applicable laws / regulations, as well as company policies / proceduresInspect and perform work on the under parts of vehiclesAccess any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenanceMove parts to and from the job site and remove or install these parts on vehiclesMaintain general upkeep and maintenance of Mobile Service TruckRespond to off-site client requests as neededInteract with clients through both email and phone as necessaryPerform other duties as requiredWhat our ideal candidate looks like :
At least 5 years’ experience performing vehicle maintenance or must possess auto or diesel technology diploma from an accredited technical schoolMust have valid Driver’s LicenseCMV operation above 10K requiring medical certificationProficient computer skills : knowledge of Excel, Word, Fleet Management Systems, and EmailAbility to work without direct supervisionStrong written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers,supervisors,Must be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle to determine if operating properlyMust provide own hand tools & toolbox.Work Conditions :
Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise.Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases or other irritantsAbility to move and position heavy objectsAbility to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to repair vehiclesAbility to work outside in various weather conditions.
