Locum – NP / PA (Cardiothoracic Surgery) Opening in Richland, WADates : ASAP – July 1, 2026Coverage Type : Scheduled Clinical Hours + CallRate : Negotiable (tell us your rate)Job DetailsFull-time, long-term assignment (through July 2026)Provider will work hospital (First Assisting) or clinic hours with callSchedule : Surgical First Assist : 10–12 days / monthClinic : 2–4 days / monthCall : 7–8 days / month (24-hour weekend call + night call during the week)Call Duties : Inpatient rounding and first-assist callbackPatients per shift : ~8EMR : EpicSetting : Inpatient & outpatientTrauma Level : IISupport Staff : 1 RN, 1 MA, and office staff supportRequirementsBoard Certified NP or PA – RequiredWA License or IMLC – Required prior to startACLS & BLS – RequiredMinimum 1 year of Cardiothoracic Surgery experience – RequiredMust be comfortable first assisting in the OR and managing post-op patientsClean malpractice & background history preferredSchedule & LogisticsOT eligible after 40 clinical hours / weekLodging : Long-term housing pre-approval required (up to $3,000 / month)Credentialing timeframe : ~60 days (no temporary privileges available)Nearest major airport : Tri-Cities Airport (PSC)
